"Roads We Do Not Take" is a black-and-white photographic series exploring the emotional and psychological landscape of human hesitation — the weight of decisions unmade and the invisible cost of paths left unexplored.

"Roads We Do Not Take" invites the viewer to reflect not only on what these people are feeling — but on what we ourselves may be avoiding. It asks: What lives are we not living? What are we afraid to face? What voices have we silenced within us? What roads have we quietly or loudly refused to walk? What are we holding on, not letting go but keep looking backwards?

This work is not about the dramatic turning point, but the subtle internal shift — when fear, trauma, or uncertainty pull us from the edge of choice. It explores how we retreat into ourselves, how the world keeps turning even when our inner compass hesitates.
